Geographical Location

Arguably, the Pacific Northwest can mean the coastal areas of North America extending from Alaska south through British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and even northern California. For our service area definition of the USA Pacific Northwest, we have included the areas west of the Cascade Mountains in Oregon and Washington that include Puget Sound, Olympic Peninsula rain forests south through the Columbia Basin and Oregon coastal region. We include the Columbia River Gorge national scenic area plus Central Oregon to include the Newberry Cauldera, John Day fossil beds, the Sisters Mountains and Mt. Jefferson wilderness area.

Scenic Attractions

Just too numerous to enumerate. The region is notable for its geologic and bio-diversity. But a feeble attempt would include a listing of coastal areas notable for scenic beauty, rainforests, old growth forests, a multitude of rivers, waterfalls, wilderness areas, mountain views that take your breath away and sub-alpine, wildflower strewn regions, volcanic features such as obsidian flows and high desert.

Gateway Cities

Seattle, Washington. Portland, Oregon.

Cultural Attractions

The region is thriving and hosts a dizzing array of artists and craftspersons such as the Breedlove Guitar Company of Tumalo, Oregon, who count Madonna and her guitarist, Monte Pittman, among their customers. Some of our clients coordinate a tour while staying at Birdie 18 Guesthouses at Eagle Crest Resort and getting in a few rounds of golf. Seattle's music scene is alive and well and a leading force in the "alternative" music world. The region hosts a number of native american on-going events as well as museums. And, of course, there are mainstream symphonies, operas, art galleries, etc. galore. Some might include the micro breweries and Oregon wine country in the list. We don't believe that coffee, although delicious, qualifies.
